"You LOC'D Yet!?" is more than a service-based salon; it is a brand dedicated to the "Loc Journey." The digital presence needed to bridge the gap between high-end maintenance services and an e-commerce platform for their custom hair bundles (Misha, Kami, Denise, and Keta curls).

The Challenge

The primary challenge was educational conversion. Loc extensions and starter locs are significant investments. The website had to:
  1. Simplify Complex Pricing: Clearly explain the count-based pricing for installs (60, 80, 100, 120 count).
  2. Product Integration: Seamlessly blend the "Shop Bundles" experience with the "Book Service" flow.
  3. Cultural Resonance: Use language and visuals that honor the "Crown" and the specific needs of natural 3b-4c hair textures.

Design Solution

Unlike the soft greens of a traditional spa, I used a high-contrast Black, White, and Gold/Yellow palette. This creates a "Street-Luxury" vibe that feels modern, energetic, and authoritative.

The "Bundle-to-Service" Funnel

I designed a custom layout for the Extensions section that requires users to understand the "2 bundle minimum" rule before booking. This reduces administrative overhead for Tiffany by ensuring clients are pre-educated before their 20-minute consultation.

Social Proof & Authority

By highlighting specific reviews from "MissCoCoKiss" and "Lace Santino," the UI emphasizes Tiffany’s personality and "positive vibes"—a key selling point mentioned in client testimonials.
Customer MissCoCoKiss gave a 5-star review praising Tiffany's expertise and personalized loc consultation.

Key Features

Tiered Pricing Tables: A clean, mobile-responsive table showing the price-per-count for installs.
E-Commerce Showcasing: High-quality thumbnails for the "Curl" series (Misha, Denise, etc.) with technical descriptions (e.g., "3b, 3c Kinky Curly").
Low-Friction Lead Gen: A prominent "Book Free Consultation" button that acts as the primary top-of-funnel entry point.

Results & Impact

The site serves as a 24/7 consultant, answering the most common questions about loc maintenance and pricing while providing a professional platform to sell physical hair products. It successfully positions Tiffany as the "go-to" expert in the Duluth area for low-maintenance, high-style locs.
